What is design?
Design is more focused on the look and functionality of the work. For example, a flyer, if the look of the flyer is pleasing to the eyes I would be more likely to read the information on it. The info on the flyer also has to be functional. It has to say what it needs to say to make you want to hear more. The same exact principles go for other designs as well, like the designs of furniture. It has to be aesthetically pleasing and also function as its intended use. Same with art so many different designers have stepped out of the box but in the end, it is still design.
